But, beside salary, what links gender equity to job perspective?
Gaby Hinsliff stated that gender equity at work is a matter of respect, not just money.
In my opinion, men and women should be treated equally in workplace.
In my own experience, I've seen people are rejected and being critic just because they want to do the job that they want.
An employer will trust a men more than a women to handle a task.
A woman received lesser salary than a man in the same position of a job.
A man being critic just because he worked as a beautician.
The family of a patient in hospital prefer a female nurse to take care of the patient instead of a male nurse.
Why is this happen to the society? How we can stop this thinking of people?

It all started from one's childhood. We were affected by the traditional education that blue is for boy, pink is for girl; men are strong and women are weak ; women should stay at home, be a housewife, do all the household and take care of the children while men should go out for work, earn money to raise the kid and support the family.
Yes. This is the traditional perspective that a family should live with but not now.
In this modern era, everything changes, from technology to transport to fashion to everything. But not the thinking of people in gender equity in workplace. education.
Education is one of the big issue in affecting people's thinking.

Even though a lots of women had gone to work nowadays but they are still not being treated equally.
